BUSINESS SERIES: WILL YOUR BUSINESS SURVIVE WITHOUT YOU?

After launching its first "Business Success Series" in July, Sonoran Bank follows up with a workshop on estate planning

PHOENIX- There are plenty of misconceptions about estate planning, many of them based on myths that surround the topic. Planning for your business' succession can help ensure that your financial goals continue to be met far into the future.

On October 14, Sonoran Bank will host its second quarterly business consulting workshop with attorney Juan Pablo G. Zaragoza of Bruan Siler Kruzel, P.C. Zaragoza will discuss the importance of estate planning, including wills and trusts, and how to plan for the succession of your business. He will also discuss the Federal Estate Tax and Gift Tax Exemptions, and where to get help developing your estate plan.
"It's surprising how many people come in and don't know what estate planning is, or have received some wrong information from a previous advisor," Zaragoza said. "They don't realize that their perceptions about the topic are putting their financial future at risk."

Sonoran Bank's "Business Success Series" targets service professionals and service companies, three years and older, that are looking to expand their operations and inspire growth over the next six months to two years. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. -10 a.m. at Sonoran Bank (3877 N. 7th Street, Suite 150, Phoenix, AZ 85014). Complimentary breakfast will be served. Business owners interested in attending must RSVP by contacting Frank Coumides at (602) 393-6950 or fcoumides@sonoranbank.com for consideration.
