Sonoran Bank Executives Will Speak at Annual East Valley Minority and Small Business Symposium
Phoenix, AZ- Senior Vice President of Lending Frank X. Coumides, and founding board member Rosa Cantor have signed on to address a gathering of minority business owners at the 4th annual event on September 19. Hosted by the Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens (MAHC) and the East Valley Hispanic Business Alliance (EVHBA), the symposium will provide training and network opportunities to small businesses and those starting a business in order to enhance their success.
The event will feature workshops on successful marketing techniques, financial assistance, management techniques and investment opportunities. The "Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year" will also be recognized. A business expo for banking representatives, financial advisors and business consultants to market their services will be held during the event.
The symposium will take place at the corporate offices of the Southwest Ambulance, located at 708 West Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85210. Attendees will receive a free continental breakfast and lunch. Frank X. Coumides has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the Senior Vice President of Lending for Sonoran Bank, he is responsible for loan administration and assisting business owners with their total financial relationship. He is also responsible for structuring, negotiating, and underwriting financing agreements. Frank is an active member of the Arizona Mexico Commission, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Small Business Finance CDC Loan Committee.
Rosa Cantor is President and CEO of the multiple award-winning organization, Creative Human Resources Concepts, LLC., an Arizona-based company established on Cinco de Mayo, 1997. She has over 20 years of corporate Human Resources and small business experience.
